In this workshop, we invite you to discover the captivating beauty of the Petra by Night and master the art of capturing breathtaking landscapes under the stars at Wadi Rum. Additionally, immerse yourself in the surreal landscapes of the Dead Sea, where you’ll explore the majestic canyons and capture the otherworldly beauty of the Dead Sea salt beach.
Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you’ll embark on a thrilling adventure into the realm of low-light photography. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting your journey, this workshop is designed to provide you with the skills and techniques needed to create stunning images that will leave you spellbound.
Throughout this workshop, you’ll explore the techniques of landscape, long exposure, and astro photography, master the use of different lenses and equipment, and gain insights into post-processing methods that will enhance the magic of your images.
Topics to be covered:
Arrival to amman, check-in a the hotel. After settling in, a walking tour of downtown Amman will commence, including visits to the Roman Theatre and the old city markets. This day offers opportunities to capture the lively street scenes and historic landmarks of the city.
The group will head to Wadi Rum and check in at the camp. A jeep tour of Wadi Rum will take place to capture the magnificent rock formations and vast desert landscapes. Later, there will be a transfer to a location for sunset photography, followed by preparations for night photography. A night photography session will capture the stars and the Milky Way galaxy in the clear desert sky.
The day will begin with a transfer to Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Explore the ancient civilization in the archaeological city, including the famous Treasury and other historical sites. Capture photos that highlight the grandeur of the architectural engineering and the beauty of the stunning nature in Petra. The day will end with sunset photography from a scenic overlook.
Visit Little Petra, a small but equally captivating archaeological site. Capture photos of the carved architectural structures in the rocks and the beautiful desert landscapes. Return to Petra to experience “Petra by Night” and capture photos of the Treasury lit by candles.
Departure from Petra to Numeira Canyon for landscape photography. Explore the beauty of the rugged canyon and capture photos of its unique rock formations. Transfer to the salty shores of the Dead Sea to photograph the sunset over the calm waters.
